Under the hood, every order is a USDC transfer on Solana, verified on-chain before the kitchen starts cooking. On screen, you see a balance in dollars and a button that says Pay. That’s the whole product decision.
Nobody holds your keys but you. Phantom and Solflare keep your account. Fork never takes custody, and never can.
Your dollars come from Circle. USDC is issued by Circle — a US-regulated public company listed on the NYSE, with full reserve backing.

You need a Solana wallet with USDC in it. That’s the whole requirement, and it’s the last time you’ll read the word. After the sign-in screen the app talks about dollars, balances and orders — nothing else.
